Calls for Submissions
The New Quarterly (TNQ) – TNQ, a Canadian literary journal, is looking is open to submissions for flash fiction, short stories, nonfiction, and poetry. Payment is $250 for a short story or nonfiction entry and $40 for poem or postscript story in exchange for first Canadian publishing rights; you keep copyright. Submissions to TNQ must be made by mail as they do not currently accept submissions by email.

Triangulation Anthology – Parsec Ink is accepting submissions for their 14th themed speculative fiction annual. This year’s theme is “music” and they are looking for fantasy, SciFi, weird fiction, or speculative horror submission where music, a musical instrument, or musical culture makes a meaningful appearance. Stories should be a maximum of 5,000 words. Payment is 2 cents per words, plus one e-book and one print copy of the anthology. Additional copies can be purchased at wholesale price.
