Remote Writing Jobs (Work from Home Writing Jobs)

FREELANCE COPYWRITERS – Flea Market Insiders is look for experienced freelance writers to writer SEO optimized blogs and articles about flea markets around the world, home décor tips and trends, and vintage fashion and decorating tips. This is a work from home writing job suitable for an experienced, native English writer who can source images and upload content to WordPress, including meta-information. Read more/apply

FREELANCE WRITERS – House Tipster, a site dedicated to interior design and home ownership tips, is looking for freelance writers to write about home-related topics. These are remote freelance writing positions for articles ranging from 500 to 1000 words. The pay starts at $25 per article. Read more/apply

FRERLANCE SPORTS WRITERS – Valnet is looking for freelance sports writers to write for TheSportster.com. This sports site gets over 12 million monthly page views. Writers should be able to write original articles with the potential to go viral. These are remote writing jobs for experienced writers. Read more/apply

FREELANCE PRODUCT WRITERS – GadgetReview is looking for freelance writers to write “best of” lists on a variety of products, from outdoor gear to tools. Lists are 2500 to 3500 words and pay is per word and based on experience. You must have experience writing for other publications and familiarity with WordPress to be considered. TECH WRITERS – Cloudwards.net is looking for tech nerds to write about online backup, data storage, cloud storage, and other related topics. They pay “top dollar”, though they don’t specify how much exactly. Writers must be knowledgeable on the topics mentioned and have some writing experience. Read more/apply

WEB CONTENT WRITER – BestMattressReviews.com is looking for a remote web content writer. To be considered for this remote online writing job you must have 2+ years of professional writing experience and a passion for product copy. You will be required to thoroughly research topics and write short and long form editorial, site copy, and reviews. A Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communication, or other related field is also required. Read more/apply

Canadian Writing Jobs (On-Site Writing Jobs in Canada)

JUNIOR STAFF WRITER – Brunico Communications is looking to hire a junior staff writer for two of their publications: Strategy and Media in Canada. You must have 1-3 years of writing experience in a daily news environment and University degree or college diploma in journalism or a related field. This is a full-time writing job in downtown Toronto. Read more/apply

CONTENT WRITER & SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR – Gilmedia is looking for an experienced content writer and social media coordinator to create and execute social media posts and campaigns, and assist with client management. REMOTE STAFF WRITER – Reutation.ca is looking for a remote staff writer to work approximately 10 hours per week. This is a work from home writing using a cloud-based collaboration platform.  You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 4 to 10 years of experience in a writing or content development role. Calls for Submissions

Consequence – This is an independent, non-profit literary magazine that is published annually. As of March, 1, 2018 they will again be open to submissions until September 30^th and accepting short fiction, poetry, nonfiction, interviews, and reviews focused on the culture of war.  They pay $25 per page of poetry and $10 per page of prose up to a maximum of $250.

Frontier Poetry – Submissions are open year-round for their New Voices poetry category to any new or emerging poet who has not published more than one full-length collection of poetry. Payment is $50 to $150 per poem.
