Remote Writing Jobs (Work-from-Home / Online Writing Jobs)

COMIC BOOK NEWS WRITERS – CBR.com is hiring journalists to contribute news articles for comic book, movies, TV, and gaming enthusiasts. You must have relevant experience, along with a basic understanding of HTML and a broad knowledge of comics, genre film and TV, videogames, and other “geek-friendly” categories to be considered for this remote writing job. Calls for Submissions

BORDER CROSSINGS – This quarterly cultural magazine accepts short fiction (maximum 3,000 words), poetry, and photographic portfolios. They prefer query letters outlining the proposed piece first. While there is no deadline for submissions, keep in mind that they publish in February, May, August, and November.

THE PURITAN – Open to submissions year-round, from anywhere in the world. They accept fiction (10,000 words), poetry, and interviews (over 2,000 words). They are open to pitches for essays and reviews. Payment is $100 per interview, essay, and review; $75 per work of fiction, and $20 per poem (or page, capped at $80 for poems four pages or more).
