Remote Writing Jobs (Work-from-Home / Online Writing Jobs)

FREELANCE WRITERS – Aha Media Group is looking to expand their team of freelance digital content writers. These are freelance online writing jobs for writers with at least 3-5 years’ experience creating web content. You must have a strong portfolio, ideally with work in the healthcare, insurance, and financial service industries. SEO writing and strong interview skills are also required. Read more/apply

CAR WRITER – An unnamed U.S.-based company is looking to hire a car geek to write a daily email to subscribers and daily website content. You must have a love and deep knowledge of imported sports cars—ideally 80s and later models. Pay is $15 USD per hour for 4 hours per day, 3-4 days per week. This is an online writing job. FREELANCE COPYWRITERS – WebpageFX is looking for freelance writers to write content for a variety of industries. This is a remote freelance writing job so you can work from home or anywhere else. ARTICLE ABSTRACT WRITERS – wikiHow is hiring part-time writers to fill remote online writing jobs. Hours are flexible but you must be able to commit to 8-12 hours per week. Must be able to condense information on a variety of topics into engaging, polished and succinct content. A degree in a writing-related field is also required. Read more/apply

FREELANCE BLOGGER – Initial Design Group is hiring a freelance blog writer to cover topics including business and growth strategy, marketing, branding, and social media. SENIOR COPY WRITER – BRAND MARKETING – University of Toronto is hiring a senior copy writer to work at the St. George campus in Toronto, ON. To be considered, you must have a minimum of six years of copywriting experience, including developing creative strategies and concepts, long and short copy, video scripts, and print, digital, social, and direct events. Experience supervising staff and assessing creative work is also required. Full-time hours from 8:45am to 5pm, with some overtime required. You must have a minimum of five years’ experience generating concepts and copy across multiple channels. Experience with relevant production processes, video storyboarding and scripting also required. Hours are 8:45 a.m. – 5 p.m.; some overtime work on weekdays and weekends. Calls for Submissions

APPARITION LIT – Apparition Lit is seeking original, unpublished speculative fiction that meets their quarterly theme. Pay is $0.03 per word, minimum of 30.00 dollars.

They are open to poetry and short story submissions four times per year:

February 15-28
May 15-31
August 15-31
November 15-30

Themes for 2019 will be:

Resistance (Submission period November 15-30, 2018 (CLOSED), Published January 2019)
Ambition (Submission period February 15-28, 2019, Publishing April 2019)
