Today’s list is another meaty one, so pour yourself a Monday-sized cuppa’ whatever tickles your fancy and have a look.

It’s mixed bag with online writing jobs open to all, including freelance copywriting and technical writing jobs. For my fellow canucks there are writing jobs in the GTA, Regina, and Montreal. Also managed to get in a call for submissions open to SciFi writers anywhere.

Calls for Submissions

COMPELLING SCIENCE FICTION – An SFWA Qualifying Market, Compelling Science Fiction is looking for science fiction that is entertaining, scientifically plausible, self-consistent, and technically detailed when appropriate. They have a have a preference for positive stories and do not publish fantasy stories.

They will be open for submissions again in 2019 from Oct 1 to Dec 1 and will be looking for short stories of 1,000-10,000 words. They purchase first world electronic print rights and audio rights (for podcasts). Pay rate is 6 cents per word. Reprints pay 1 cent per word.
