Happy Monday and first day of fall! It’s a soggy one here after a weekend that was insanely hot and not in Fall Typerwiter Writing Jobs Canada the least bit fall-like. My coffee (#2) is strong and hot and I hope yours is too. Now, let’s get to today’s list of freelance writing jobs. It’s a good one today with remote writing and editing jobs open to all, as well as some onsite Canadian writing jobs. There’s also one call for submissions for any steamy romance and erotica writers out there.

Calls for Submissions

Best Bondage Erotica of the Year, Volume 2 – Rachel Kramer Bussel is looking for submissions for this anthology to be published by Cleis Press in March 2021. The deadline to submit is October 31, 2019, but earlier submissions strongly encouraged.

Rachel Kramer Bussel is looking for your hottest, most creative unpublished 2,000-5,000 word bondage erotica stories that includes at least one of the following:

Stories starring people of color (ownvoices stories preferred)
Stories set in non-BDSM settings (meaning locations other than dungeons, play parties, etc.)
Stories using unusual and creative bondage implements, such as household items
Stories with unusual and creative motivations for bondage
Stories incorporating humor along with bondage

Stories can range from contemporary to historical, sci-fi, paranormal, etc. Characters must be at least 18 years old for the entirety of the story. Stories including scat, incest or bestiality will not be considered; age play will be considered as long as it’s clear in the context of the story that the characters are engaging in role-play. No poetry will be considered.

Authors whose stories are accepted for publication will receive $100 and two copies of the print edition of the book on publication.
