Isolating isn’t easy, but the sun is shining and my coffee’s hot, so that’s something.

I managed to scrape together a list of new writing job leads to end the week with. (It is Friday, right?) The list consists of all remote online writing jobs open to writers anywhere. There’s a product description writing job, a remote editing job for Snopes, and some other freelance writing gigs.

Remote Writing Jobs (Online / Work-from-Home Writing Jobs)

COPYWRITER – Discus.com – an online tropical fish retailer – is hiring a copywriter to write product descriptions. This is a fully remote online writing job. They are looking for someone a high level of creativity and wild imagination. You will be required to write 3-5 product descriptions daily. Pay is up to $100 per day. If you’re able to write more than 5 while maintaining quality, the rate will be adjusted accordingly. Payment is made via PayPal. Read more/apply

STORY EDITOR – Snopes is hiring a story editor to help their newsroom line-edit content. This is a full remote editing job. Obsession with words and grammar is a must. Expertise in research, reporting, news judgement, and ethics also required.  You must have a minimum of 7 years’ line-editing at a major news organization, preferably digital-only. Read more/apply

WEBSITE CONTENT WRITER – SphereAccess is hiring a content writer to writer marketing material and website content, including social media and short articles. You will also be required to conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic, and recommend new topics. This is a remote only writing job on a 2 month contract. CONTENT STRATEGIST/WRITER – Clerky is hiring a remote content strategist and writer to write blog posts, white papers, newsletters, support and internal documentation, and social media content.
