Remote Writing Jobs (Online / Work-from-Home Writing Jobs)

FREELANCE MOBILE GUIDES WRITERS – Digital Trends is hiring several freelance writers with a passion for consumer tech and gadgets to write 8-10 guides per week (if part-time), along with tutorials, rumor roundups, and more. These are freelance online writing jobs for writers with previous experience writing and fact-checking online. Read more/apply

BEAUTY & COSMETIC WRITERS – Codeless is looking for freelance writers with experience in the beauty and cosmetic industry. There online writing jobs involve writing 1000-word pieces for a client in the beauty products and skin care space. Read more/apply

These are fully remote content writing jobs for writers you can write around 1-2 articles per week (more or less based on your schedule). This position does not involve sourcing or editing images. Canadian Writing Jobs (Jobs for Writers in Canada ONLY)

AUDIO DESCRIPTION SCRIPT WRITER – National Captioning Canada Inc. in Calgary, AB is currently looking to grow their team of in-house describers to make the visual content accessible to a blind or low-vision audience. Required are strong writing skills, comfort in voiceover narration and a strong speaking voice. Training wage is $17.50 per hour and formal training at the Calgary head office is approximately 4 weeks and increases to $20 per hour after the completion of 20 hours of script writing various types of program content. FREELANCE COPYWRITER – Easy Group Inc. in Toronto, ON is looking for a part-time freelance copywriter to write copy to carry out the creative concept on social media platform. Experience in copywriting is preferred and you must have 1-2 years of previous advertising industry experience. Pays up to $850 per month. This is a remote freelance writing job. Read more/apply

COPYWRITER (ENGLISH) – BLAX in Boucherville (Montreal South Shore), is hiring a part-time or freelance English copywriter to write and draft concepts for multi-platform publications. DIGITAL CONTENT WRITER (CONTENT DESIGNER) – CIBC in downtown Toronto, ON is hiring a full-time content writer who will be responsible for writing, editing and proofreading copy on their public-facing channels, including CIBC, Simplii Financial, CIBC Bank USA and affiliates. Call for submissions

THE FIDDLEHEAD – The Fiddlehead is open to good writing in English or translations into English from all over the world and in a variety of styles, including experimental genres and are looking for unsolicited works in fiction, including excerpts from novels, creative nonfiction, and poetry.

They particularly welcome submissions from Indigenous writers, writers of colour, writers with disabilities, LGBTQQIA+ writers, and writers from other intersectional and under-represented communities.

The Fiddlehead is currently accepting Poetry, Fiction, and Creative Nonfiction on Submittable!

Their two Submittable submission periods are February 15 – April 30 and September 15 – November 30.

For those who prefer snail mail and handwritten responses, they will still be accepting mailed submissions! Mailed submissions in any category are accepted all year around.

Pay is $60 CAD per published page, plus two complimentary copies of the issue with your work.
