I received the following job posting from @English, a Japan-based organization that helps non-native English business people practice English by discussing current affairs and business issues.
While not your typical writing job, I imagine it’s a gig that would appeal to many freelance writers looking to supplement their income.
They’re looking for people who can “take things from various viewpoints, think deeply, speak and write properly”.
They reached out because they figured people who frequent this site would have these qualities, and I agree.

English Communicator (Any city in Canada)
We, @English, supply non-English speakers in Japan opportunities to practice English conversation and we are recruiting English-speaking Communicators.
Communicators call non-English speakers via Skype at an appointed time from their home and have a conversation on business materials or current affairs articles which @English provides.
Conversations last for about 25-30 minutes, then the Communicators write detailed feedback advising clients how to express what they’d like to say in a more natural and sophisticated manner. Communicators need to have a strong command of English and the ability to write clearly and concisely.
We’re proud that this job gives Communicators an opportunity to interact with many interesting people and think deeply about a variety of issues including culture, social problems, the economy, and other business issues.
